Frequently Asked Questions about Syllabus
If I download a syllabus from this site will it be the same as the one I receive in class the first day?
NO. All syllabi posted here are merely representative of the courses. Students should always consult the current schedule of courses for definitive schedules and instructor-specific syllabi for information on textbooks and other requirements. In other words, use this as a guide, but do not base your schedule or textbook purchases on the information presented here.
Why aren’t there more syllabi listed on this site?
The syllabi posted on this website are provided by the Office of the Provost and have been approved for General Education Curriculum by the Faculty Senate. Syllabi are reviewed and approved every five years. Therefore, not every syllabus is available to us to post.
All available syllabi to date have been posted, but more will be added as they are approved.
Can I submit my current syllabus to be posted?
